Face rating: the general overview
The face rating experience centers an overall 1–10 display and accessible feature feedback. It suits users who want a broad view without learning community terminology first.
PSL rating: a community-style frame
PSLKit’s PSL report uses a 0–8 convention. The scale guide gives context for the score and avoids assuming that every community uses identical definitions or tier boundaries.
A photograph is a point of view. Keep the camera, the conditions, and the person behind the picture in perspective.
The scales are not interchangeable
Do not assume a 6 in one tool equals a 6 in another. Different scales and implementations can use different conventions. A conversion is a presentation choice, not an independently verified measurement.
Compare the feedback, not just the numbers
Look at the descriptions, the image quality, and the explanation of each field. Those details tell you more about what the product is communicating than a bare score does.
Choose a more specific tool when needed
For an outline question, use Face Shape Detector. For left-right balance, use Face Symmetry Test. Face Analysis organizes feedback by region. Each tool starts with a more focused question.
